The watch was exactly what I expected. It was a great price. My husband and I have several other Invitas and they are all great watches.

Well,

I got this recently, and I have to say I am thouroughly unimpressed.

I found out about Invicta while looking for Seiko's, some of the Invicta Models appear to be direct Seiko clones or copies that are re-badged.

The face of this watch caught my attention and I kept going back to it over and over on Amazon, and finally purchased it. It it packaged well, and at first glance, is an amazing watch.

However, the movement cannot possibly be of Swiss origin. Even the cheapest swiss movements keep +/- 15 seconds. This watch seems to be between +/- 5-5 1/2 minutes.

The push button settings for the smaller dial faces is extremely irritating, as I use my hands all day at work, and cannot rely on the readings as they are frequently wrong due to accidental activation.

If you like the look of the watch, and are willing to wear it as a piece of jewelry instead of a precision timepiece, this may still be the watch for you though.

I will admit that the face alone is very very attractive and I will still wear the watch simply for it's looks. I do however own replica Rolex and replica Omega watches that keep much better time with what I am sure are cheap Chinese movt's.

Solid Build, grand looking, though not a Swiss made movement (I don't think I can buy a SWISS MADE movement watch with this price)

I grew a little weary of wearing a Timex 24x7, decided to get something dressier for business wear. When you buy a watch, you are paying largely for its cache -- they all pretty much work the same.

This watch looks good and keeps good time. Nice heft to it. If you are over 40, you will have trouble reading the three smaller dials. Even with my reading glasses, I cannot read them. Another area where my Timex outperforms this watch is that it has a pushbutton light so you can read it at night. So this watch is a bit more decorative than functional.

You would think the watch would come with instructions for re-sizing the band (you need to take out links unless you have a massive wrist). I googled and then went onto eBay to buy a $5 tool to remove links.

Bottom line, I have a good looking watch for $80 that looks like a $200 watch. I'm happy.

I thought the watch was worth the money, but the day of the week and date of the month are simply too small to read.
